Hello and welcome!
I am Elena Lander, an international actress based in Milan, with a vibrant multicultural background. My ideal role is that of a strong woman with a rich, nuanced past—think of a career-driven person, doctor, spy, journalist, or a compassionate mother, whether single or married to an oligarch. While I recognize the clichés often associated with Eastern European characters, I am passionate about reinterpreting them to reveal their depth. Not every role has to fit the mold of pole dancers or secret agents with heavy accents, right?
Recent credits include a role in the award-winning film "The Best Century of My Life", directed by Alessandro Bardani, the lead in "Settimo Grado", directed by Massimo Cappelli, and roles in the series "I Fratelli Corsaro" and "Stucky".
I was born and raised in Moscow in a Jewish family and graduated with a degree in acting from one of the leading universities in Moscow. My teachers were among the best directors and actors in Russia, students and followers of the Stanislavski, Vachtangov, and Chekhov schools.
In 2009, I immigrated to Israel, where I trained as a television presenter, accumulating thousands of hours of experience in live morning shows and news broadcasts. In 2024, I obtained a master's degree in creative production and wrote and directed the short film “Doppia Sfida,” which is now entering its festival run.
I am an extremely dynamic person, far from the concept of "dolce far niente." I enjoy being constantly on the move, whether it's running a half-marathon or dancing salsa and bachata - just so I can allow myself to indulge in tons of pistachio ice cream, which I absolutely love! Every strong character needs at least one delicious flaw!
Ciao,
Elena
