Hello and welcome!
I am Elena Lander, an international actress based in Milan with a vibrant multicultural background and a truly European identity. Fluent in English, Italian, Russian, and Hebrew, I bring depth and versatility to every role I play across languages and cultures.
My work ranges from strong, complex women with layered histories - career-driven professionals, doctors, journalists, or intelligence operatives - to warm, compassionate mothers and characters navigating personal transformation. I thrive on roles that demand both emotional intensity and subtle nuance.
Recent credits include the award-winning film The Best Century of My Life
(dir. Alessandro Bardani), the lead in Settimo Grado (dir. Massimo Cappelli), as well as roles in the series I Fratelli Corsaro and Stucky.
In 2024, I earned a Master’s degree in Creative Production and wrote and directed my short film Doppia Sfida, which has been officially selected for the Cyprus International Film Festival (CYIFF) and will celebrate its worldwide premiere on September 23, 2025, in Nicosia.
Born in Moscow in a Jewish family, I graduated with a degree in acting, trained in the traditions of Stanislavski, Vakhtangov, and Chekhov. After immigrating to Israel in 2009, I expanded into television as a presenter, gaining thousands of hours of live on-air experience.
Beyond the set, I am full of energy and curiosity: running half-marathons, dancing salsa and bachata, and, I admit, indulging in far too much pistachio ice cream. Because every strong character needs at least one sweet flaw.
Ciao,
Elena
